Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Yakima Replacement Tail Block locking Assembly. This is going to replace the Tail Block Locking Assembly for your Yakima Rack and Roll 66 inch and 78 inch trailers that are 2015 and newer. And on your screen, I am including the item numbers of those trailers that this is going to fit, for your reference. And the tail block, as you know, connects to the lock core, and the Rack and Roll trailers uses three tail blocks that are located on the tongue and at each of the wheel blocks.
So this assembly is exactly like the one that you are needing to replace. This is the direct replacement from Yakima. So what that means for you is you can trust that it's going to fit right in place of the original. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues, or anything like that. So if you are needing to replace the locking assembly for your Rack and Roll 66 inch or 78 inch trailer that's the year 2015 and newer, this is going to be exactly what you need.
Well, that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

Something is wrong with this piece. It does not connect to the lock core.
We were very happy with the service. One item was back ordered but they kept in touch with us via email with emails throughout the process.
Well constructed. Easy to exchange withe previous lock turn that had broken.
Products are fine….but the follow up from etrailer was excellent! Our parts were delayed from the manufacturer, but etrailer kept us up to date with changes. Great customer service!
Functions as expected. Even on my pre 2015 trailer.
Perfect replacement, easy to install.
Good stuff. Fast delivery. Perfect customer service !!!
Upgraded to a thicker longer tongue needed longer lock stem. The fit was perfect!
Met expectations, however there were no instructions for installation of the product.
Perfect fit for my trailer. Easy to rep lace.
The mechanism has broken by September in the same location as the original. The casting of the slot is flawed.
Good part that's not easy to find. Etrailer has been great.
Exact replacement part and great service from eTrailer!
On time and all correct. Can’t ask for better service
This was exactly what I needed - the shipping and customer care was excellent - which is why I always go to etrailer for my traler needs. Thank you and good work!
Perfect fit locking assembly on Yakima rack and roll trailer. Took about 5 minutes to install the new part. Delivery was very quick.
The Replacement Tail Block Locking Assembly was something unique to the Yakima trailer, and I was thankful to find it at etrailer.com It was easy to install and has worked perfectly. Than you.
This Tail Block "fits like a glove" and now gives us "peace of mind" since it's the only lock keeping thieves from running of with "most" of our Yakima Kayak/Bike trailer.
Like a lot of things these days, this part was on back order for some time. But Paula at etrailer.com kept me updated along the way. Once I received the part this week I watched a Yakima video on how to install it and had it done in just minutes. Awesome! Highly recommend etrailer.com.

Only sharing my experience, but after a year Ive had no issue with this tail block assembly working fine on our 2014 Rack and Roll. Your results may vary. Thanks again to etrailer!

I think Yakima needs to reconsider the design of this piece, but that is not your issue. (That tiny ledge at the bottom of this part wears down so that the lock which should slip onto it slides off). I ordered two from you to have a spare as I anticipate that with wear and tear this will happen again. However, what I appreciate from your company is that you had the part, the pictures were very helpful, and you provided my order in a timely fashion. Thank you.

Great, never an issue

Does what it’s supposed to. It would be better is they have a video on how to install it. I contacted Yakima and they sent me one. It’s not hard to do but not complete intuitive
It's a perfect fit for our Rack and Roll, which we have had since 2013. Yakima told us that it should fit, and it does; we were able to install it with the original lock core. It works well!
Works for prior 2015 models as well.
An etrailer representative connected me with Yakima customer service, who explained this piece would fit my 2011 Rack and Roll trailer. The block locking assembly arrived quickly and was a perfect fit. See pics.
The great news is that this tail back locking assembly fits the black locking lever on the tongue of my 2011 Yakima Rack N Roll kayak trailer. This part is identified on the etrailer website as being limited to models from 2015 and beyond. It would be helpful to other customers if this information is corrected. I would also recommend a video demonstrating removal of the lock, core and the locking mechanism.
